Each raffia strand is approximately 1m to 2m long, with knots every 1m to 2m.

The width of the raffia varies, with the ends being thin and the center wider, unlike synthetic raffia or yarn. However, you can enjoy the natural scent and pleasant touch, as if working with the plant itself.

For those used to knitting with uniform yarn or synthetic raffia, KNOT Raffia may be challenging to work with, but the difficulty is part of the experience of working with natural materials.You can even enjoy the difficulty, in the process of hand-making your own creation.

Since each strand is manually joined, the knots may come undone if pulled hard. If this happens, re-tie using the "hata knot (はた結び)."
